Perhaps these are abstract ideals for you, experienced in moments throughout your life, but hard to sustain. Maybe if you read the "right" self-help book, exercised more, did yoga, ate better or just plain tried harder you could *finally* could get it together and feel better. Maybe you tell yourself that things aren't THAT bad and you shouldn't feel this way since (a) other people have it worse or (b) others can handle the kinds of problems you have.

Yet somehow, all that you've told yourself or done up to this point hasn't helped you get to where you want to be.  It's not that you're weak, lazy, flawed or undisciplined. Here's the truth: all the self-help and things you think you *should* do often ISN'T enough. Because life is complicated and you are a hell of a lot more complex and nuanced than a self-help book!

So, what IS the solution then?

Ease, inner peace, self-confidence...sounds good, right?

These are the kinds of life challenges I work with:

I can't claim to have all the answers, but I've been doing this long enough to know that given the right mix of motivation, perseverance, courage and good therapy, really cool and life-changing stuff can happen. I've experienced it myself personally as a client and have seen it week after week as a therapist. While there is a certain science to therapy, it is also a craft.  You need a guide who's willing to get in the trenches with you and help you effect real, lasting change. When you find a therapist who has the mix of compassion, knowledge, intuition and skill that is aligned with your wants and needs, then there is POSSIBILITY. I would love to help you discover what is possible for you!
